For me, I will take my guitar and then play it for several hour until my depression is gone. And also, I can relieve myself by hearing some loud music. Or I can just sleep, and When i woke up I will feel better. How about you ? What will you do ?

When I am feeling depressed, I go read some funny emails or watch someone do standup comedy on youtube. I talk to my husband and tell him how I feel. He knows how to make me feel better. If the weather is nice, I will go outside and walk around the neighborhood. I will be able to clear my head and try to think about what depress me. I also found that listening to music from the old school perks my mood too. When I was living at home, I would play with the four cats we had and they would some hilarious things to make me laugh.

I do pretty much what you do. I turn up the music and dance around my room to make myself forget about what is depressing me. I have fun and by the end of my silly time I usually feel better. If its really bad I probably cry first as my eyes water at the smallest things, but in the end I make a fool of myself (without anyone else seeing) and then things get better. Have a great day!

Music will always pick my mood up. I usually put on something I can sing a long to or some music that makes you feel like dancing and that has nice upbeat. Another thing that helps me if I am feeling down is to be appreciative of what I have. It could always be worse and I look at what it is I am down about and try to justify if I want to waste my day feeling down or make the most of the day. I cannot get this day back so might as well make the best of it.
