Do you still listen to the AM radio?

I'm just curious. Many years ago, the AM stations were thriving, radio-dramas and talk shows on-air where known in that AM frequency. Now my question is, do you still listen to AM frequency? or not? When was the last time you listened at an AM station?

I am listening to am radio station for morning news at 7.35 am and for getting commentary i switch to am radios. Other times i am not tuning to Am radio stations as there will not be any programs after 10 am here. Once again it restarts at 6 pm. Hence in that time i am listening to Fm radio stations.

So basically you just wait till it gets back on air and then you switch back. Hmm... what makes the AM fascinating for you?

I rarely listen to the radio unless I don't have my iPod with me and if I were to listen to an AM station, I would listen to the Disney Radio. I am such a kid.

Oh? There's such a thing? Wow, if we had that I'd probably be there all the time. Too bad we don't have Disney Radio here.

Yeah it's called RadioDisney and I used to listen to it all the time but I've resigned to iTunes and YouTube. :)

yeah, I still do. I usually tune in to AM for the morning local news. That's the only way for me to get informed of what's happening in our city. The AM format is not better than years back and the commentators are improving too.

I haven't listened to AM radio in a very long time. I think the last time was when my son and I were listening to a football game when it got blacked out and we couldn't watch it on TV.

Yes, my mom and I do that every Saturdays and Sundays. We always listen to the old songs and I enjoy listening to that so much...

That's nice, yeah they do have nice selection of the oldies. But the FM stations play those too. Not to mention imeem and other music sites online.

I don't listen to AM very often, at least locally. Sometimes after it gets dark, I like to listen to the high-powered AM news station from other states, mainly KNX in Los Angeles and WBBM Chicago.
