Hi Friends... I am sure each one of us has gone through this thought, sooner or later. However we still feel very nervous with the very thought of an interview and an interviewer.
How do you think we can impress an interviewer? Are there any tips for this?

If the company has a website, you should go to that website and review it. What is the company's purpose and what do they do? Make sure you know everything you can find out about the company. Be prepared for the interview. Have answers to any questions you may be asked like "Why did you leave your last job" - the answer may be something like "I wanted to move up and hold a position with more responsibility, but there was not such an opportunity in that job, I hoped that this position may provide such an opportunity". A difficult question that is sometimes asked is "what are your weaknesses?". This is sort of a trick question, the answer should be something like "I tend to get too involved in the work I am doing and forget to take a break" or something to that effect. Always provide positive responses to all questions and an extensive answer, if possible. Try to do a mock interview with a friend, have a list of questions they can ask you and try to give more than a one word answer. The interviewer has only a short time to try and get to know as much as they can about you. Try to provide them with as much information as possible and emphasize why you are the right person for their position.
