Invite new friends is a big task

I spend one year in Mylot, but it is so pity to inform that I have got only 4 friends in it. I participated in the discussions and started new discussions in it. But,why I don't know it is not possible me to find much friends in it. In your opinion what will be the reason. Now I added my blog in Mylot. Please tell me the way to increase friends in mylot. Is there is any hidden way in it. I saw people with more than 500 friends in it,how can I make it possible. Along with this I am inviting friends who are willing to accept my friendship.

Hi Renju. You are in mylot for a year? Why you only have 21 posts between discussions and responses? if you stay away for months it doesn't count as a year. I think that is easy to make friends here only make a request for friendship. If someone doesn't accept many will accept. It is like the life: you win and you loose as well.
I don't have any problem in accept you as a friend if you want it ofcourse.

Thank you for your finding. But in other social blogs like myblogblog and blogcatelog etc,I got friends within 2 or 3 days. That's why I feel some difference in Mylot. I think people in it are more reserved.
