My sister hasn't called me in weeks. I've called her a few times with obviously no answer and no call back. I wonder what she is up to...no good I'm sure! This type of behavior would be expected from my brother, but sisters aren't supposed to be like that. Has your sister ever done this to you?

I agree that you should check on her.
I have one sister who calls me occasionally and the other one hardly ever calls or answers the phone.
The first sister is busy raising three kids on her own. I worked out a time to talk with her when she has some free time and we can chat for a little while.
The other sister is always busy too. So many times, she cannot find the phone. I just figured that I am the sister to keep up communication.
Just to let you know, we fought like crazy until we got in our forties. Sometimes it takes a while to get things straightened out but we have a wonderful time together now that I would not trade for anything.

I called my dad just now and he said he talked to her a couple days ago, so that makes me feel better. I'm sure she is just busy. I feel the same as you, that I'm the sister to keep up communication, which is fine. My sister and I fought a lot growing up and into our twenties. We fought physically (as teenagers) and verbally (as teens and later) and it got ugly. We disrupted the whole family at times. But we've been good friends for several years now. She will call sometime soon I'm sure!

I am so glad that you know your sister is okay. Me and my sisters did not get along until we had children and they were half grown. I had a child with my sister's personality and she had a child with my personality. We had to rely on each other to get us through. It has been interesting. In the last year my one sister was in the hospital for a major operation. I stayed with her in the hospital for several days. It was hard but the bond just keeps getting stronger. I believe you love your sister and I also believe that you will grow closer over the years.

I don't have a sister, so no. But my brother occasionally does things like that. I do it back to him, so it's not a big deal.
I agree with the others, though. If she hasn't done this before, maybe something's wrong. You should check on her to make sure she's ok.

Well, if she never do this to you then you should call friends of her to check on her. Im not sure if she lost her phone or what she has been up to. Better send someone to check and keep calling if she answer.
