How to make money with adsense

Im interested in getting traffic to my site so that i can get a few clicks for my adsense ads too.Ive read a couple of discussions where a few of you guys make money with adsense. I would be gratefull if someone would share some tips or tricks how to attract people to youre site so that i could get a few clicks on my ads too.

I leave messages in chat box like shout mix or cbox or whatever, leaves comments in others site or blog and joined mybloglog and blogcatalog to get more visitor.
