Budding authors

I know exactly how you feel, I personally have started to write the story for a good 25-30 full size books, but I can't seem to finish any of them. The problem, for me at least, seems to be a lack of feasibility. Meaning, I don't think it will be possible to finish it, or publish it, or make it good enough for anyone to want to read. It really helps if you can realize that it doesn't matter how good the book is, or if it gets published, or if anyone ever reads it. What matters is that you do your best on it, and if you do that your going to be happy with it regardless of what happens with it. I hope to finish at least one of them soon, just feeling the pride of an accomplishment like that is worth the time and effort to write it. Good luck with your novel!

i tried to make my life story a novel. i didn't try to follow on that one. time constraints and i'm not that patient so i decided to just continue reading in one form or another. you know, magazines, books and internet. until i discovered a site that enables me to write. however, i hadn't had any contributions to that site for almost a week now. they're doing different versions of their sites in different countries and different languages and philippines was affected in that i cannot log in.

I am in high school and have thought of a few good book ideas. I started on called "Nightmare Alley", but only wrote a few pages. I think the idea of being an author is so great that we think we'll write a book, but we most likely never follow up on the plan. Good Luck that we both become RICH authors!
