What gift can you buy for your best friends when she will be get married?

One of my best friends will be get married this month,I'm so pleased to hear the good news.In our country,we usually give some money when someboday is married.We are far from each other,so I can't take part in her wedding.I want to send some money to her,but she refused.So now I always think about this question:what should I prepare for her ?It's so painful for me.
Yesterday I gone to many shops to buy the gift,though I don't know what should I buy.I hope I can find out an especial prensent for her.But unfortunately,many good shops have relocated.So I have to find and find.At last,I decide to buy a pair of pajamas.I don't know if she likes them.Today I'll send the gift to her by express,hope she like them.
What will you do when you meet this condition?Can you share with me?

I always try to make something for someone special to me. Handmade gifts always seem to be more heart warming. Making scrap books, cards, poems and such. I enjoy getting things like that because it shows that the gift giver took alot of time and put alot of thought in to the gift.

Well, here in our country, we usually give home appliances such as electric fan, stove, rice cooker, air cooler, iron, etc to the couple.. but if you want to give something special then you can make handmade gifts or personalized gifts such as scrapbook, etc...
