An old success business man said to me "DO" what you "LOVE" and the money will follow..... It is true ? Whenever I spoke to another success business man about their career, They always mention how much their love the work they do. "Making money" just was a bonus that added to the enjoyment they got from doing what they did for a living. To me, that's mean they made just more than a living,....They made a life for themselves..Earn money isn't a burden for them but only a bonus.. can we do it now ? How about you ?

That's it, doesn't really matter how much money will come, because it will, since you love what you are doing and will improve it day by day! Good one

I think that's the best philosophy around when it comes to money. I'm a teacher and I love what I do, and I make a good living from it because I love it. Of course, I don't base my entire self on my monies though, and money does not make me if that makes sense. I think it's about being happy in what you do that makes however you live enjoyable. Anora

hi anora, nice to meet you here and thank you very much for your comment with my article. Your job is nice because as a teacher you can share your knowledge to your student. and your student of course have to give you a gratitude and meritorious service in their life..like Me now I'm 44 years old until now I still remember my teacher in junior and senior high scholl and give them a gratitude ..keep in touch ...

Maybe not... I do what I love, but I'm broke all the time. Teachers don't earn enough to make ends meet well, but there's a lpt more to a career than earnings! It's become unnecessarily difficult and stressful, but as soon as my students get into the room, it's a great joy! I wouldn't do anything else, even if I could earn a bundle!

I worked at a community college for almost 8 years because I loved what I did. I earned decent money after I became an administrator and I achieved that goal because I loved what I did. Now my husband and I live in Florida. He's passionate about motorcycles...building custom bikes, repairing and maintaining them, customizing them. He used to work out of our garage but we recently rented a shop in town and opened our own business. His reputation is growing by leaps and bounds because he definitely loves doing what he does and he's good at it. Financially we can afford for the shop to not make a dime and my husband has said more than once that, when he's no longer having fun, he'll shut down. I don't look for that to happen anytime soon.

Let me tell you a little story. For years, I had tested software. It's a job I did extremely well, and I know! Once you release the software, if clients find defects - you hear about it. But no one ever really appreciated that work. Switched jobs in the same company. Now I'm doing less work, less overtime, and management now beleives I'm a "top performer". Though my company is suffering in these rough times - I received a performance bonus. And yes, I'm doing something I love to do and long wanted to do.
