your pic being misused???

hey there my lotters....
were you aware that your pics on social networking sites like orkut or even mylot can easily be copied and pasted by anyone.....i've tried it with my own pic.....i was able to copy and aste it....
so what if someone does just that and misuses it???noone wants that to hapen to them right.....
for this very reason i never put my pics anywhere on the internet....
what do you guys have to say about this???

Hi I too never put my pics on net but in orkut I have locked my album from others viewing. I have allowed only friends in my list can view it and I will not accept friendship in orkut unless I know the person for many years. happy myloting.

hey chaitra.....its very intelligent of you not putting our pics on the internet.....and yes this is also a good measure to lock the profile from unknown visitors....good work and hapy mylottin to you too

i dont care and it does not matter to me because i am just a normal person.they can do whatever we like.somehow my husband was right,we should put aname on the pics who belongs to so that its easy to report who used the pics

Ya I know about this orkut thing.I had also my website where I had put my pics online long back,then one of my friend told me that it is not safe in the internet,anyone with mastermind could copy and paste it without my knowledge.I had removed all the pictures but I was wondering is there any site where you can upload all your picture albums and at the same time which locks it and can be viewed only through your permission and that it can be just viewed and neither copy or paste the same.Good day!

hey there....well its god that you removed all of your pics coz all this is increasing day by day....and to tell you that now orkut provides the facility to lock your album....only your friends can see it if you set it accordingly....

Hello twistdbrainz! That's what I found out too. I have posted some pictures there and I hope no one will copy and paste it and use misuse it. I know it's dangerous but I don't think someone would be interested with my pictures anyway.

You are extremely right in this case. I completely agree with you. One should never post his/her real image on any of the social networking site. It can be misused in many ways. It may cause one future turbulence. He/she must rather go for his/her lookalikes .In todays world ,we see many miscreants around us ,they can be dangerous to us anytime. Therefore by not keeping ones future at peril ,one should rather try to avoid pasting one s own real pic..
