I have backup battery. And I think I have to buy more cellphone batteries I like to take of the battery from my cellphone and charge it by the charger. I don't want to charge it with my cellphone as it is not convenient. Besides, I have heard that it's dangerous to pick up a phone when it's charging.

i always charge my cellphone before i sleep. i dont turn it off but i will not use it except if someone calls. i dont havea backup battery so i just do it that way. a friend told me not to use the cellphone when it is charging for when you use the cell while charging the battery will be damaged. so i just let me cell sit there while charging and dont touch it even there are text messages but i will sure grab it when someone calls.

I charge my cellphone battery directly by connecting the charger with my phone. I also charge it in some cases by connecting it with my laptop. I would have wanted to have an extra battery but since, my work involves using my laptop all the time, I never had a problem with power, since I can always connect my phone to my laptop and charge it anytime.

I always use the charger my friend, I didn't know it was dangerous to pick it up whilst charging, I know it beeps to say it's been fed (battery full) but sometimes I do pick it up to check that it's still charging. I did touch the silver bit of the charger when it was still plugged in, by accident, fortunately I didn't get a shock, you don't realize sometimes do you. When I go on holiday I always take the charger with me, thankfully it's not that bulky.

I have managed to time things so that my cellphone runs out of battery charge, just before I go to sleep at night. I have an electrical outlet next to my bed, where I can plug in my adapter. I also take the adapter with me, so that I can plug it in in the coffee shop when I am not using it, if I see the battery starting to get too low.

I have no idea how much an extra battery for my phone units would cost, but I am considering the cost since I will have to buy a different kind of charger as well. I don't usually use my phone when I am charging it anyway, I guess I just have to be more careful with charging my phone for the meantime. I will also canvass for the price of the charger and the extra battery so that I can at least have an idea of how much I will have to save for.

Hi youless! I charged my cellphone battery while it is still within the cellphone. I usually turn it off when it is charging. And I charged my extra battery the same thing. I think that having a separate charger for the cellphone is a great idea. I think I will see if there is one available here in my area.
Take care and have a great day!

I don't have an extra battery. I charge my battery with my cellphone only. I charge it daily when i have my dinner. Because i don't like to talk on phone when i eat. So I switch it off and charge it until i complete my dinner.

If i switch off the phone and charge it, then only 20 to 30 minutes is enough for full recharging.

I have only one battery with me. I do charge my mobile phone directly using the charger. I most times use to charge the mobile phone while I am sleeping. I have also heard that it is dangerous to pick and talk through the mobile phone while it is charging.

So far, it is always a direct plug in to the charger on the phone.
Cos the phones I have do not come with a individual charger like they do in the older models.
Something that I miss in the phones of today. Cos it is so much easier to charge a battery as a spare with the stand-a-lone charger.
Now, when I go travelling, the charger goes with me. That is why when I buy a phone for the two lines I am using, I try to get the same brand or similar models so that I do not have to carry too many chargers with me when I pack.

youless,
Usually, it is alright to charge your battery through the phone as the phone is equipped with smart charging functions and the lithium battery that come with the phone does not have a clock which will have over charging problems.
If you do not like to charge through the phone and that you have a backup battery, you can consider using a desktop charger. However, you will still need to go through the inconvenience of changing the batteries.
Lastly, it would be advisable to charge your batteries with care, like ensuring that you do not do it on a rainy day and that you use an anti surge adapter.
Have a nice day.

youless,
Using those additional features can be quite heavy consumption on the batteries. Sometimes I wonder why they never come up with solar energize batteries.
Sigh....
