how often to wash a car

how often is it "healthy" to wash your car? is too often bad? if yes, how often in a month or year do you need to wash your car? i wash it when i feel its dirty and if possible i will wash it as often as possible but im not sure if that will be bad for the car.i also apply car wax after washing, is too much car wax bad too?

It all depends on the weather. I tend to wash my car after a good rain. You never know what might be falling out of the sky with that water. With all the chemicals that companies are putting in the air these days.
During the Winter I only wash I wash the car abour 2 times a month, this is mainly because I am in NY State and I want to keep the salt to a minimum. Salt is not good for a car. But, in the warmer months, approx 1 a week and on special occasions. I really dont think that you can wash your car too much. Just make sure you use clean water and non abrasive soap and wax.

I dont know washing car may be not good for its "healthy".I just wash it as I find it dirty. I ususally wash my car twice a week and apply car wax about once a month.
