When I go shopping, I first think of all the basics I need.. bread, milk, butter, tea, coffee, sugar, cereals ect. I just about can manage until the next shopping trip, but MILK, I always run out of milk, it drives me mad. I laugh about it to my hubby, saying to him, we should buy a Cow. It doesn't matter how much I buy, I never seem to have enough ha. What about you, whats the first thing you run out of?

Not only would a cow provide you with the juice but it's a labour saving device, remember with a cow in the garden you'd never have to mow the grass again, tell that to your hubby, then he'll be doubly keen! Here's something to make you smile on a Monday, as a child I used to call milk cow juice! Then I must have seen a programme on television where they were hand milking a cow and I thought ewwwww gross! So I suddenly stopped calling it cow juice, but strangely it never put me off milk! Sorry to digress, the first thing we run out of is eggs, because we get through so many, dad has a fried breakfast and I love my omelettes, ideal for body building too, great protein providers. We always have milk fortunately because mum is prepared and buys it in bulk, what's left over I use up in milkshakes.

Hi wolfie, your a funny guy, you did give me a laugh. I'm lucky because we have a goat to munch the grass, which is good because she doesn't leave the same size wastage than a cow would, if you get my drift. I don't have the same problem with eggs because we have chickens, I'll throw some across the water for you haha

Shopping, I dont like it at the first instance. But being in a rented house, and staying with friends, guys always end up buying things at the last moemnt only. So, if i can remember, Drinking Water(which comes in bottles) will be the first thing we will run out off. Noe of us would care about water getting over, and we will have to call the person at the last moment to supply us with water when its almost over. Rest of the things i guess, we buy only when its required. Since we dont cook for ourselves, so shopping is not a headache for us..

Hi Amanda, Same here with me I usually tend to run out of milk first and bread second but if I go to the shop to get just these two items I nearly always end up with a whole basket full of bits so I have now started freezing an extra loaf and holding a cartoon of long life milk in the cupboard as it does save me money. Huggles. Ellie :D

we always run out of bread.
because every morning, my mum and dad would eat bread for breakfast. Though i don't consumer much bread, our loaf of bread normally goes out within 4 days plus.
