Which Webcam?

It is my daughters birthday shortly, and she is after a webcam, but which One? There is such a large range available from both ends of the price range, Different resolutions (made even worse by the interpolated resolution figure), VGA, CIF (whats that?), fps rates, some have built in Mics etc . Anyone help explain it all or recommend some good budget ones which can be good to use with MSN Messenger. Thanks in advance

I would recommend you a creative webcam not vga but pixel. It has a wide reange of models. Creative is a good mark and all their products are good. Ofcourse if well use. The prices are affordable, moreover the picture the camera gives is of high quality. so i would suggest you to take one creative webcam, but not VGA.

Thanks for your response, I thought VGA was the best resolution, if not what pixel resolution do you recommend. Do the creative ones have a built in Microphone ?

Ya creative webcams do have a microphone. I would suggest you to buy one with at least 1.3 mega pixel. Ofcourse including the integrated microphone.

Thanks atish, I will add them to the list to have a look at creative onesz as well, making sure they are 1.3 pixels. Happy MyLotting
