Are you more of a listener or are you more of a speaker?

I learned in my guidance class that those people who are more of the listening type are the ones who are stronger and whom you can depend on in times of trouble and when you need somebody to talk to. Though they don't speak as much as the "speaker", they formulate good advices while listening to the other and they give great advises too. Those who are more of the speaker type are those who tend to be weak and are dependent with other people in life.
I think I am more of a speaker since I always rely on my friends and I share them everything when I have problems. And I also think of myself as a weakling.
Do you think this is true? Are you a listener or speaker?

I think that is good that you are more of a listener. At least it shows that you are strong.

hello there...i can say that i am a listener....in fact many of my friends say that.....and i happy you said all these good words,..i can relate to them...i like to here to my friends....and all most all of them share their thoughts with me.
but, do not think you are a weak person or are dependent because you share your thoughts with your friends... its an easy way to reduce your tensions and feel relieved...be what you are............its not easy to be a listener...but its just about the nature of people...some people are just born like that i guess...or some situations make you like that.
have a nice day..

Hi! Well that is what they told us during guidance class. That those who speak more tend to be the weaker ones. Anyway, you are right. I shouldn't think that I am weak. Thanks for sharing your insights.

I have always been a lister. I can jsut about listen to anyone without betting to board. I think what you were taught in your class is probley true, but I have never heard about that untill now. so I am not sure realy. but I tend to be better at listening than giveing speaches. You can learn a lot by jsut paying attention and listening for about what other well say about themselfs or otthers.

Shareing things with friends dont really make you weak specially if you take their advice and work it to improve what it happeneing.
Nt sure if being the talker makes you weak. But I always thought my self strong and I do listen good but I also interupt the speaker some time

I tend to be more of a listener. People often see me as "the quiet one" because I sit back and observe, then share my thoughts only when I have something to say.
I like to feel that people can always turn to me for help when they need it. But that doesn't mean I don't necessarily need help sometimes myself. And I don't see it in terms of being "strong" or "weak". We all have our strengths and weaknesses.
I have been criticized for being too shy and not outspoken enough. But I have also encountered people who speak before they think, while I'd rather proceed with caution.
So really, it's just a matter of understanding ourselves and using our strengths and weaknesses to our best advantage. It takes all kinds to make the world.

i think i'am more of listener in my daily life, but to be honest ,i 'm also a person who have to dependent with others ,so i can often listen to my friend complaining without giving them any valuble advices, i'm far from being speechless, just unable to start a conversation with others,so when come to this moment ,i was maked to be a "listener"
