I look for quality while shopping not for price?

Everytime i go for shopping so i just look for the quality of items, My friends tell me that you buy everything very expensive and im always there to tell them that i believe on quality not on price and the thing i like i buy even if it is doubled price.
What do you think and how do you shop?

I think it is better to go for quality rather than price. In the end, the transaction turns out to be cheaper. This is more so in case of consumer durables. Low quality goods require more investment in time and money in repairing as they tend to get spoilt faster.
