I was up late last night just looking at one of those idiodic infomercials, telling me that he's going to give me the secret to all of his success for a measly 49 dollars. then i started thinking, this infomercial is on alot of channels along with alot of others trying to sell their "secrets". that means that alot of people are watching them and thinking "if it would just work a little, my family won't have to worry anymore". so people buy them, and try them to find out that there is a catch to it. i'm not trying to ridiculing anyone, i sit there and watch them too. and i think about buying some of them. they make them sound so convincing. only thing is why would they sell their secret when they can hire people to make that million dollars for themselves.
most people on mylot and other sites are here trying to make a little extra money. these are who those infomercials are aimed at. the ones that need that extra 50 to 100 dollars a week. believe me, in this economy, every dollar helps.
so my question is have you bought one of these packages off of an infomercial? and if you have, did it work or what was the catch that made it not possible for the average person not to achieve that seem success. maybe if we tell our stories, we might save someone some hard earned money or at least we might be able to match the right people with the right package. so spill your beans, mylot. tell us what you know!

You have to wonder when you see those infomercials - why are they always on at 3:00 a.m.? Because they can't afford to purchase regular commercial time when most people would be watching, that's why. Why can't they afford it? Because they are not making money. I am a member of an internet marketing site that offers plenty of advice to people on how to get started in IM and how to find a niche and promote it. Everything you would need to know from A - Z. Let me be straight with you, there is no magic bullet, no "get rich overnight" scheme. Internet marketing takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Once you have all the steps in place, you will start to earn a steady online income, and not pennies a day either. Depending on what you promote, you can actually earn a living. I know most people on this site are not interested in IM because they think it is a scam. It is not MLM which is different. MLM requires you to build a downline, which for most people is impossible. They pay for a while, then they drop out because it is only costing them money. The site I belong to has thousands of successful online marketers who freely share their knowledge with the other members. The two guys who started the site readily make themselves available for member's questions. Everyone helps each other, it is a community. I would never buy something from an infomercial. Ever.

thanks, but i wasn't looking for the magic bullet. i was wanting the ones who have tried one of the infomercials, to tell others what the catch is. that way, if someone reads it, maybe they will have a better idea on why not to buy it.

i have never bought anything on the infomercials but they really do sell it don't they? I once looked into one because the guy made it seem like it was easy but after doing a little more digging into it yeah you make lots of money but you got to get others to join and spend blah blah anyway basically it was a pyramid scheme you had to get others to do so much so that you would make more on top of what you were already making which the guy who brought you in got some money of.

I have been trying to make money on the internet and everyone of these gurus tell me that I can make thousands of dollars every month. I suspect that they make their money from the suckers like me who fork out their hard-earned dollars to buy their "sure thing". Let the buyer beware, so say the Romans. And I too. Cheers!!

Although tempted by all the hype, I have never purchased any of these either from the info commercials on TV or the equivalent on the web.
As you have said, and I totally agree with you, why would someone sell a secret that makes millions for just a few dollars. If it is to spread success and wealth to many more then they could just give the information away, but they don't because then people would relise it is just a scam.
I am amazed that these sort of commercials are even allowed, even if they are in the early hours, and they obviously have a good marketer who can word it in the right way to stay just on the right side of the law.

No I never tried nothing from those infomercials. The people on there are very convincing. Especially late at night when you mind is playing tricks on you. You be wondering hummmm he can do it, Why can't I? Just think about it we are giving them there money by paying in on the infomercial. If it was any guarantee they would give us the money to start.
