Anyone watch this weekend?

I love the trilogy, my girlfriend gave me the meanest face when i turned to tnt to watch two towers. Although I enjoyed the book the hobbit, a movie of it wouldnt be that interesting. I'd watch it and probably enjoy it but the people who didnt read the book would probably be dissapointed, one thing that confused me is didnt bilbo baggins find the ring in the dragons cave? If so how did smeagle find it? maybe I'm wrong idk

Smeagle found it like 500 years before bilbo did. Then he lost it and Bilbo found it. I haven't read the Hobbit, but my son has told me about it cause he read it. I think the movies show much more. The facial expressions,and the action is just superb. I watch them everytime TNT shows them. I just wish they would get rid of the commercials! I don't have dvd, but I do have them taped and I bought the return of the king in the store on vhs when it came out.
