Is raggae the same as reggaeton?

I have heard the name of this second music genre, is it the same or are they different?

Reggae is definitely not the same but Reggaeton is a blend of Reggae and latin music. Both are extremely interesting and nice to listen to.

no, reggae think bob marley, reggaeton think daddy yankee. stronger beats and latin influence in reggaeton..
