Yes a real live pink dolphin. Apparently he's an albino. Apart from being an albino, he's healthy and normal.

Wow he is a thing of beauty. The picture looks like it's a pink inflatable dolphin or a photoshopped one, but it's a real live one.

Something just seems "fishy" (sorry about that pun) about that picture to me. That dolphin is so pink and pretty but something about it looks unreal to me. After it has been out for all to know about now I fear that it is in danger of being captured and for that reason I do hope it is not real.

It's real. Go to snoops and read for yourself. I hope it doesn't get captured. It is way to beautiful and rare to live in captivity.

I am not saying I deny what you say so I won't have to go to snoops to read it I was just saying since it is so out in the public now that I wish it was not real because now I fear the dolphin will not be around too long after people go on a search to try to find this unusual dolphin.

The dolphin actually first appeared a year ago, and seems to be doing fine, so I think it is safe.

Hi TheCatLady -
I thought it was probably a hoax so I checked but it looks like it is true!...

I followed your link. It's true alright. What a beautiful creature it is. Even prettier than a normal colored dolphin.

But I do have a friend that lives there have to ask her if she has seen it.
BUt I think where she works is on the other side of Lake CHarles might not get that way to often.
and was funny I had seen this and later they was showing it on our news here in Vegas.

If you get back to that area, you could sit and watch and hopefully catch a glimpse of the majestic creature.

Your hearing about it now. It's best not to have it make world wide fame, but I guess it has now. People might hurt it. It would be a shame to harn any dolphin. THey are sweet sensitive creatures.

That is really gorgeous creature right there. An Albino dolphin that is brightly pink, many albino have only pale pink or scattered pink in their body, but this one has vivid color making it a stunning dolphin. Totally one of a kind, a precious thing of beauty, hope people would stay away form it to not disturb the normal habitat of that dolphin.

It is a beauty. All dolphins need to be left alone and not pestered. They are intelligent creatures. If they want to play with us, they will come up to us and ask.

Yup! That dolphin's pink, all right. Ranks right up there with the green kitten from Copenhagen. (1995)
