There is a new technology on the market. It is a gel that gets hard upon impact then goes soft again. It can be used in things like protective gear for the military or in helmets for bikers, ballet shoes or other sports gear. What do you think about it? I think its great. It can prevent a lot of injuries.

That sounds like a really great idea also for our police force.

It would be great for the police. They could be fully protected without wearing a ton of armor. Even police dogs could use it because it's light weight and flexible.

It could save lives. Just think how much better the bullet proof vests can be. I was also thinking of motorcycle and bike helmets. So many people have brain injuries from crashes. I have a friend who was a professional dancer when she was young. Her feet are all messed up from her dancing.

It's already being used in some sports equipment. It would be spectacular in motorcycle gear. Anything to make our lives safer is good.

I have visited the link. This is truly amazing. I think this would be very useful not only for military purposes later on but for law enforcement personnel. We all know the risk of these jobs. Life is so important. I hope that they will be able to make this product work effectively.

Anything to help our police stay safer is a good thing. I respect the police for the hard job they must do. It's a very high risk job.
