I hated vitamins when I was a child but I started taking vitamins about a year ago. I take iron, calcium, vitamin c, and flax seed oil and then try my best to eat healthy. I just took the advice of Dr. Oz from Oprah but I really feel that I need these vitamins eventhough I didn't get myself checked up by a doctor first. How about you? Do you take vitamins too? If so what vitamins do you take everyday?

the fact is over 1/2 of the vitimins you just took are lost the first time you urinate after taking them. get up, take your vitimins, have a few cups of coffee or water and flush, their gone. no kiddin. if as you say your eating healthy ( by the way the flax oil or seed on on cereal is very good) then that is really all you need.the vitimins in the food are processed the right way and stay in you system longer. if you like or have the ability to steam your veggies better yet. if you like cruciferous veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, greens of all kinds, they get rid of the bad while putting in the good stuff. if you have a good digestive system thats a plus, i think dannon yogert has a daily digestive drink you can tak, and a couple other brands. i know some women need the xtra calcium but a doctor can give you a shot that will last longer than pounding down pills all day mixed with starch, fillers that you never heard of before. did you know that every time a doctor or lets say oprah says a vitimins name or someone buys from that because of that show they get a cut of the money from the company. i dont trust any t.v. doctor. i did all the vitimins and stackers, med rx, ripped fuel for 40 years at a cost of thousands and found changing my diet did the same, hey so it took me 40 years to get smart, live and learn they say.

Wow that's very interesting. Well how would the vitamins company know that I got the info from the tv show when buying those vitamins? and then give the show a cut of the money from the company? That's kind of like manipulative-sneaky thing to do. Thanks for sharing this info.

I was taking one a day for years! I never really found it did anything for me. Then I found this new company that sells wellness stuff! I started taken these vitamens two months ago called vitality total! And When I went to the doctor for my rutine bloodwork checking my iron he was absolutly amaized my iron was up for the first time in 5 years! Did you know that most vitimens out there have fillers in them. Most vitamens contain what is called beta blockers. Basicaly the vitemens that are in them are not broken down by your body they are eaten up but other things in the vitimen. You should really try vitality it is only $11 canadian for 1 month supply! I find since taking them I have more energy and I am not as run down as I used to be. Im a single mother of 2 toddlers so I get tired pretty quick I find that these vitimens really help. I also find that I am sleeping better!

Vitality total? I've never heard of that but I've taken some vitamins for immune system from Wellness too before. I stopped it because i wasn't seeing any difference. I have not tried the One a Day woman. I have some sleeping problems over the years so I probably will check out that vitality total. Thanks.

Yes, I do. I take a Skin, Hair and Nails vitamin. With Biotin, 1000 mg. So far, it is working okay. It is very natural. I don't like to use vitamins that break me out or cause problems with my insides. The brand that I use is called Spring Valley. I bought it from Walmart.

I am taking Revicon Forte multivitamins. It is specifically contains iron which i really need considering i sleep late at night. So just to keep my red blood cells healthy, i need to take in iron. It helps in keeping alert the next day too! Revicon has amino acids too which i think is benefitial for muscle development. The missing vitamin is vitamin C so i need to settle with fruit juices everyday to make up for it.

Do you know that we barely get anything from commercial juices? Especially the powdered ones? Real fruit juices lose nutrition hours after the juices have been extracted. How much more the ones already stored in bottles?

I sure do take vitamins. I just got my navel percied so i was told that if you dont eat properly and u get sick ur navel is more likely to get infected so from here on after i decided to take multi vitamins once a day. But before this i would take vitamin c once and a while just becuse i dont eat enough fruits or veggies as for i live on my own and that kind of things would just go bad faster then what i would eat them.
