Sometimes, I have a sleepless night. I was turn and toss. I had to sit up in the middle of the night, and pick a book or magazine to read for while. After my eyes getting drowsy, I would fall into sleep easily. Does the same thing occur to you all?

When I were in the middle school,I lived in great stress, so I could't sleep earlier and alway thought more and more. One day, when i was sleepless,I read a history text at hand, not long time,I sleeped. So when i met this condition,I always read the history book, it can help me sleep qucikly.
Now I have a habit that before sleep I should read a book first, whatever the book is.Hehe.I don't know this is a good or a bad habit, but I like reading books before sleep!

You are right on the nights that i have a hard time falling asleep i pick up a book and start reading and it helps relax me so i can fall asleep. If i have a lot of things on my mind or if im worried about something reading helps to keep me relaxed and it helps to get things off my mind.

It depends on what I am reading. I lose sleep over something that interests me, like a novel I have to finish or something that gets me gripped to it. On the other hand if it was a study material from school or work material , it puts me to sleep I think that reading tires your eyes and also the mind and also requires you to focus on the book which helps people to go to sleep.
