DO you hit the bed early and wake up early? Are you a morning person? Or are you someone who stays up late in the night and wake up late. Do you hate waking up in the mornings?
I am a night owl who is forced to become an early bird. I sleep at 10 and wake up at 5 in the morning. What about you?

I am an early bird. I hate staying up past my bed time. And i get grouchy at a certain time in the evening. But in the morning at five when i get up i am sometimes hyper thats how much of a morning person i am.

I used to wake up early in the morning at my student life. It continues up to marriage and birth of my daughter. After the birth of my daughter I had to change the habit. My daughter was crying at the night. She started to cry from 11 to 11.30 pm. And her crying normally stopped at 2.00 pm. This is going on. No, she is not crying now, but a late sleeper. So we are late sleeper. And those who, obviously normal health, sleep late can not wake early. I wake at 6.30 am. But I can say that my hubby and me both are missing the morning. There is a beauty of morning. Don't walk, just watch. Watch the morning of birds, the rising of sun.

I like to go to bed in normal time and get up in the early morning otherwise I feel lazy and wasting time to stay on bed.

I can say that I am a night owl. I stay up until 2-3 in the morning and wake up around 7am to prepare breakfast. If I am still sleepy, I will hit the bed again around 10am and sleep until 12 noon.

I am little bit opposite to you nikky, I am the one who likes to stay late night and likes to wake up lately in the morning. I cannot go to bed so early at 10, at this time i don't even have my dinner, so that may varies to person to person.

When I have work, I have to wake up early no matter what time it starts because I carpool with Mother. We work in an adjacent city. When I am not working, it really depends. I still tend to wake up rather early, but I tend to stay up late as well. My sleeping hours just get cut short. So, I am either both, or neither.

I am a night owl for the most part, but here lately i'm what you'd call a morning owl, lol.... My daughter has odd sleep habits due to some early medical conditions that left her with this odd sleeping schedule/habit. So for the most part, I am up most of the night, and then until mid morning. That's when I catch me a nap, and am up again for the remainder of the day and night. I would would much rather go to bed late, and sleep in, than get up bright and early and go to bed early. I do my best thinking at night lol.

Unfortunately, for the past couple of months I can't seem to fall asleep before about 2am.
But then I'm up by 8am... so I'm not running on much sleep and it's definitely catching up on me.
I feel awful most of the time.

aww you know if I haven't slept the right amount of sleep the previous days, I could sleep like a baby the next day for hours, maybe days too (haven't tried that one yet lol) I have heard that a cup of hot milk before going to bed might help one sleep. You could give that a try.

I became an early riser when I had kids. The little ones were always up around 6:00 a.m. Yuuuuuuuk. Now I am used to it but there are still times that I really enjoy sleeping in until 9:00 or 10:00 in the morning.
I read somewhere that teens and people in their twenties actually need more sleep and have a hard time falling asleep at night. I love to tease the teens as they are gaming until 3:00 a.m. or later in the morning. I tell them if they hoot with the owls at night, it will be hard to soar with the eagles in the morning. I get a lot of interesting looks. No matter when, it is nice to get a good long restful sleep.

I'm really not an early riser. I hate waking up in the morning. In fact, I'll spend as much time as I can sleeping before I have to wake up. I just hate getting up so early. I'll go to bed rather late too. I don't always go to bed late just because I'm staying up and doing nothing of importance either. I do stay up late and work on important things, sometimes I don't though. It just depends upon my need at the time.

Yes, I do hate waking up early in the mornings. I dread it. I do stay up late at night at least until 11p.m. Then I will wake up very early than usual. I am so tired when I am getting up for the next day. I am in the middle of between the two of each.

On weekdays and nights, I go to bed somewhere between 10-11ish and wake up at 6-6:30. On weekends, I usually go to bed between 11-2, and wake up from 10-12. So I'm pretty much both... but how much I'd give to be able to sleep til twelve every day... LOL!
