We are all born with a pre-destined life.

If we are fat, it is because we were born to be so. If we are smart, it is because we were born to be. If we achieve great things, we were pre-destined to do so. Personally I believe in free will. But is there anyone who believes that their life is controlled and they have no choice but to be who they are?

I'm afraid you've misunderstood me. I do not believe that life is pre-destined. I do believe that we have a destiny, but that it is shaped by our decisions.

According to Sylvia Browne our lives are mapped out and pre-destined. I am not really sure though I would like to think that I have choices and so on..but one never really truly knows...well, unless you are Sylvia Browne.

We all have a choice of our own. How we are going to live our lives, and how we determine our future. Don't give it up. be ourselves, and pursue what we are always after.

most of the people on this earth believe in the pre destined life and that is the reason they also believe in astrology. whateveer good or bad happens with a person, the credit goes to destiny. in every life destiny plays an important role. but the thing is that it starts playing its role only when the human being plays his role. if we sit at one place and do not move and wait for things to happen in life then we would be just sitting and would have no results in life. in this case, one would say it is destiny that makes one sit without any cause. but this is not true.
one's hard work, dediaction and devotion towards the objective of life can bring a change in destiny. if you really work hard then your labour has the power to go beyond destiny and fight with it and bring the best results for you.
there are many who rise from rags to riches. we say it was their destiny but the fact is that their determination forced destiny to take a different path.

Everyone has control of their life, to a certain extent. No one can determine the circumstance one is born into, or the genetic gifts. Circumstances can make a huge difference in who someone is. I can honestly say that if I did not meet certain key people in my life I might have been very different.
If you've seen the movie the butterfly effect you might kind of understand, despite being a pretty average movie, it explains the view pretty good.
Now, do I believe there are events that are meant to happen? Yes, but those will happen despite what any of us do.
