I just dropped out and now I feel like a failure. I am not proud at all. It's because of my Panic disorder. I couldn't sleep, I have racing thoughts, and I faint. My dad paid $13,000 for me to attend a coure in Medical Assisting, and I failed him. I really jacked up my future.

It's ok, you didn't jack anything up. You can always go back. The first order of business should be to take care of your mental health. You can over come your panic disorder and control it. Try finding a good counselor and start there. Don't worry about college. It will still be there. Namaste-Anora

I know exactly how you feel. I have contemplated dropping out many times but I have always chose to stay. If you just dropped out there should be no problem getting you back in. If not now then you can start again next semester. I am sure you are not the only person to have done this. Your future is not jacked up, even if you don't go back. There are plenty of things out there. Whenever you begin to panic just think of something else or find a counselor. There are ways to overcome your panic and I have faith that you can do it. Good luck.

you should go back. i went to school for medical assisting too and it really isn't that hard. just relax and try again. when you get stressed, then just take a break and do something else until you feel better and then come back again. it really isn't a hard course to take. you will do good. you should go back. if you haven't been out that long they will let you come back. medical assistants make pretty good money. you should try again and know that you can do it. good luck

You can always go back to school. I don't know of any schools out there that wouldn't let you. I ought to know, I have gone back. This will be my third time returning. Every time I start back, I end up having a kid and have to drop out for a while. Anyway, I think that you should begin by forgiving yourself. You haven't messed up your future. Go see a doctor to get control over your Panic disorder. Then, after you are centered again, go back to school. You can do it. I have faith in you.

College is not life. Work is not life. There are just part of life. Do not dwell on your failures. God is bigger than any problem. And He is life.
