Third Time Lucky? ROFL

dang it, now that's two cents....

Ooops. Another vanishing, darlin? So sorry about that, but I'll bet you're a bit luckier with this one. St. Pat's Day, eh, and third time lucky stories. Oooh, I've got one! My hubs! He's my third! And lemme tell ya, he's definitely the charm, and a lucky one at that. I call him my only "real" husband and there's more truth than fiction in it. He's a doll and treats me like a princess. I can count on one hand the times he's told me no about anything. He spoils me, just as I deserve to be spoiled. It's funny, he reminds me so much of my father, who was one of the sweetest men to walk the planet. It's a little freaky, but mostly just plain wonderful. That's my "third time lucky" story. Not bad, eh?

HA! I think I skipped right over the "third" time and went directly to "fourth". In the past week, we've received money from two sources. I was HOPING the third would be my disability benefits but, alas, no such luck. *sigh* Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, the third money receipt hasn't happened yet... if there is a third. Geez, I hope so! LOL I'm a little bit Irish; does that mean that I'll only have a little bit of luck? AND, if that's the case, have I already used it up or does it renew itself every year? Hmmm... research. I'll definitely have to do some research into this whole Irish luck thing.

Hi sparku, Oh' I don't know about luck but the only time I was three times lucky when I won on the rafles in our spiritualist church and decided to put the two prizes that I've won to give others a chance. But we do need a little luck in our lives sometimes eh? Love and hugs. Tamara xxxx

It does seem that things happen in three's. I don't think I have any luck. My pot of gold seems to be empty. My rainbow is missing. My rabbit's foot hopped away. See!! There is three.

I don't even remember its been so long since I've been lucky, or gotten lucky.....but I digress.... I know I say... "Third times a charm", all the time. But for the life of me, can't remember when it really has been.

Everything comes in 3's and I haven't even had my coffee yet so my mind is groggy...I'm sure I have a 3's story. I'll have to think of a good one for ya.

I've been thinking about the questions you asked all day and I just can't remember. But I know there must be at least one. Most of my luck comes when driving, I don't get hit, I find a parking spot, I find where I am going. GPS for me. I use an old fashion map. But I don't need to win the lottery I'll take these little bits of luck anytime.

well today is the third day of the third month so maybe it will be a luck day for us both although I feel a rather ominous energy around today I guess we will see how today turns out

Hi there Sparks, I can't right now even think of a 3rd time lucky story....been going thru a pretty annoying streak of bad luck these days so I'm with you....I could use some good ole fashioned Irish luck. I have a lot of Irish in my blood and I love the holiday so we can only hope...dream...right?

Sparks, they say the third time is a charm! Who's worrying about the pennies? That's about all it's been for me this month! I think you need some mercy and grace more than you need luck. It's better for you. But, hey, if you want to go for St Patrick's Day and luck, that's fine with me. Happens to be my Mother's birthday and she's been around a LONG time.

My 3rd time lucky story is meeting and marrying husband #3, we just recently celebrated our 26 year anniversary so it appears that it just may work out! ;)
