Maybe I am late to learn, but still I would share my feeling with my friends. Yesterday, my son brought back a "write and show" board for his computer. After draw scatches of a street scene, with buildings, trees and cars, my grandson was painting with color tools, which made a wonderful picture, and saved and printed. What a wonder!
I was also told, "speak and show" softwares were long ago invented. It must be great help for writing.
Which do you prefer, typing or speak or write?

for me it's typing and writing. although typing is way better... no messy erasures hihihi!
i'd prefer typing/writing because for me it's easier to compose my thoughts first before typing/writing. when it's speaking... i get tongue-tied often... :D

I prefer typing then writing or speaking, if there is no option between writing and speaking then i will choose speaking, i dont like writing at all, even to write a single sentence makes me feel very lethargic that i find myself very irritated to write any thing. and moreover the work i do at my office doesnt need writing at all and there is no necessity at all for us to take a pen even, every work done officially is paperless, so, its very rare that i write usually, either i speak or type or do them simultaneouly.

but i am really amazed on the things that we can do now with our computer. i would like to learn someday that thing too if i will have the chance and the time to do so.

I prefer writing because I have the option to edit my thoughts or whatever I want to say. When you say or speak, sometimes, it causes too much trouble and people sometimes quote you on those words. It's hard to take it back.

I would prefer speaking but it often takes me a long time to formulate good sentences and I usually mess up. All 3 of them are excellent modes of communication though :)

I prefer writing or typing. Then only i can really express myself; If i'm trying to say it, then even a little disturbance may interrupt my speech. So I can say that i prefer writing/typing rather than speaking...have a nice day! :-)

I agree that writing is easier.
I get to practice my typing, state my opinions, and make friends.
It's also good because you can edit whatever you want to say before you post it up, but when you're actually talking, you have to be very careful about what you say during a risky conversation.
I know there are some people who are really good at saying what they mean and meaning what they say. But I know I'm not one of those lucky people! lol

I think it all depends on my mood.
For the most part I enjoy speaking to someone about it, because I'm able to get a response then in there. I could be so caught up in the moment that I'm not noticing something obvious. I also have a tendency to say things in a better way then I would right them, because all of my thoughts are pure and true.
However sometimes when I'm upset, and I just need to rant about something completely and utterly pointless and I don't feel like making someone else put up with me I type. I really like the feeling of pounding on the keys when I'm upset or angry.
However when I hit an all-time low or high I have to write. There's something about writing that makes it more you. You actually feel the words come out of you unlike typing. When you type every word could feel the same, but when you write every word feels different. And the feelings that I experience while writing really help me see where I'm at and understand myself a lot better as a person.

I have fair command of all three, typing, speaking and writing. It depends on situation where I am in and use which ever is applicable. But of late I have mostly used typing when am mylotting but when I am not, I speak a lot but writing is less used. But you are ask me, I prefer typing better cos when I type are the words from my thought and is all recorded while speaking endlessly is quite tiring.

When I was a student, my handwriting always be praised by teacher and schoolmate, I was proud of writing article, even got more score merely because of beautiful handwriting. But as a doctor, it's inevitable to write the case everyday, though there are all kinds of case in hospital, from which I can learn a lot, but writing day after day, I feel so boring. I am long for the computer to type the case to reduce the task after dong complicated operation.

I am at ease with writing and typing than speaking. Probably i had practiced these two much better than speaking because i used to be alone most of the time when hubby goes to work and i am here , facing the computer and typing things for my blog and at the same time enjoying the privilege of using MyLot for answering the queries.
I am not gifted with drawings, if i have, i would have drawn a lot of good things and have been a computer graphic artist myself.
I am into art, but not into paintings and drawings, but i am into dance and singing. I have been learning much on editing stuffs on ADobe Photoshop and doing some art work like digital scrap booking.

Typing. As my daughter would say I am a weirdo.... I love to type, I could do it all day, thus the reason for me staying home now as opposed to going out to work. I can type all day long and make money at it. How cool is that. I like writing the traditional way also but with a computer, why? Speaking, I hate doing that unless I am totally comfortable with the person that I am talking to.
