How safe do you feel when you fly?

It is a known fact that flying is the safest form of transportation. With the fact that a commercial airliner takes off every minute with out incident most of the time. You can belive that your odds of dying on a plane crash are one in five million. Lately though, it seems like commercial airliners crash all the time. As a pilot myself I can say that I feel safer flying than driving. Do you feel safe when you fly on a commercial airliner?

Y'know, I've flown on long haul international and national flights within both Australia and the U.S.A. quite a bit and I've never once felt slightly unsafe.
It's just not really a thought that enters my mind when I'm flying.
I'm too preoccupied thinking about the destination I'm going to, or making sure that all my travel documents are in order. Or I'm too engrossed in whatever movie I'm watching to even think about crashing heh.
