I have a GAF client from Pakistan and he said he would be sending the payment thru Fax Money Order. He said that the Fax Money Order is processed in his Post Office and I can get the money in 30 minutes. If it's thru the Post Office is it the same as a Postal Money Order?
Can someone clarify this for me? It would be great if someone from Pakistan can clarify this. Thanks.

this is just a guess, but they probably send the information for the payment through the fax machine so you don't have to wait for the payment. the other party goes to the post office and pays for the fax money order. then the post office there sends the info to the post office where you are via the fax machine. then you come and pick the money up. a whole lot faster then sending it through the mail. that is just a guess, but that is what it sounds like to me. when you go and pick up the money, they can explain it to you

That is what I thought as well. But I thought if that were the case I would have to know the fax number of our local post office. Where I am at, the post office is so 50 years behind that they don't even answer their local telephone number. Our post office system is so inefficient that they have a success rate of only 50%. That means 1 out 2 letters get lost somewhere.
