If you had $3000 what would you do with it?

Would you pay off bills? Would you donate it? Would you buy yourself something new? If I had $3000 and the economy wasn't bad I would do a little of everything, but in this economy I'd probably only buy groceries, pay the bills and then save the rest. Not that there would be much left over after that.

I'm going to sound incredibly boring here, but I'd just put it all into my savings.
I'm desperately saving at the moment so that I can eventually marry my girlfriend and start a family. So for me, right now all that matters is saving as much as I possibly can.

it is true that in this economy $3000 is nothing.. we cannot do much with this money.. of course this moeny would be used to pay my bills and foods.. what else can i do with it.. after paying my rent i wont be able save any money.. may be $30000 will give me a chance to save some and buy a car or new guitar.. however i wouldnot forget about charity if $30000 is with me..

hello ecogal,
If I have a $3000 free, someone gave me or i won it on a game, I would donate 10% to the church. that would leave me $2700. I will use it to pay my bills, and if there will be some money left, I will buy, food and a few clothes.
take care
