Like a lot of people, I have followed the Casey/caylee Anthony case from day one. At first I was horrified over the idea that your child could be missing and you would fail to report it for 31 days. My instincts as a mom and as someone who follows true crime cases because the way the human mind works fascinates me, initially said the child is dead and the mother had something to do with it. Unfortunately, I was right about Caylee and I am pretty sure I am right about Casey. My discussion is, do you feel that tv shows such as Nancy Grace and others have unfairly tried and convicted Casey before she has even been to trial? What do you think about how this case has been tried in the court of public opinion? Understanding that the case needs to be proved beyond a reasonable doubt, she could get off. Don't get me wrong here, I believe that Casey is guilty. Aside from the smell of death in HER car and not reporting her missing I don't really need much more to tell me something is not right! What could the defense possibly say about that? But not to stray from my original question. Is it fair the way the media tries cases before trial has started?

I believe that this case has been tried thru the media with Nancy Grace and others solely because the tot mom has not shown one ounce of emotion when it comes to her daughter. All she thinks about is herself and how she is the so called "Victim". If this was an accident and she had called the police right away crying and heartbroken this case would have taken a totally different tone, and probably would not even be mentioned anymore. However, Casey has been lying from day one plus not reporting her daughter missing, it was the Grandmother who called the police. Then she partied in clubs during the month that she was initially missing give me a break. If she didn't do the crime then why all the lies. I believe this is the reason the case has been tried thru the media. One thing for sure people don't have a heart for a mother killing her own flesh and blood, that's the bottom line.

I don't think is unfair for the media,on tv, to try and convict someone. At least not this case! There is so much evidence in this case to convict Casey Anthony! She killed her daughter! She lied and her parents have supported her through all this! Casey Anthony is guilty!

So what do you think should happen to her parents and brother? Her brother testified that he knew she lied to police and he didn't go to the police and tell her "real" story of what happened. Doesn't that make him guilty of obstruction of justice? It tells me he picked between his niece and his sister. It is sick.
