1/2 days in public schools...?

The schools in Hillsborough County, Florida are now issuing 1/2 days every 3rd Wednesday of the month. What does everyone think? Arent there enough days off?! How do they expect kids to learn properly when they are cutting things short?

well I personally think that it is a GREAT idea. I love short days and days off... probably just cause I'm a student :)
But it does cut back on learning.

I think its nice to have the extra family time to go out and do stuff but also as a parent it is frustrating because the schools try to shove so much into a regular day.
