According to a recent research, publiched inthe latest edition of the Reader's Digest, A person who pray stay alive 7 years more than a non-praying person. The pray is basically not related to religion, whatsoever it may be. It is a form of searching oneself within one's inner self. According to the report, a person who has undergone openheart surgery will need to pray more than others. So, do you pray?

yes i do pray. i pray because it helps me let it go of things. i pray because it allows me to ask. i pray because it allows me to say thank you and to forgive those and myself when need be.

Salam, i am a muslim who try to perform his prayer atleast five times a day. it is said in our coran that praying is connecting you with the almighty god allah. praying makes god happy. Also praying in islamic way is a good exercise for your body. Yes, i do believe in your statement that praying keeps a person surviving more longer. because of the exercise body stays in good health.
