How much of a stay at home mom/dad are you?

I know there are people who are able to have one parent is able to stay how and take care of the home and children, whether it be the mom or dad. Of course, I know there are families that need both parents who work just to make sure that their family's are going to survive. I do have to work, but I'm home most of the morning, and some of the afternoon. So I do get to stay home with my children for a little while. My husband is a stay at home dad right now until he's able to get back to work. Eventually, we're going to be a two parent working family. It's just not happening right now.

Both of us have full time jobs outside the home. I get some time with the children in the morning and he gets some in the afternoon. Just the way our hours work out. I wouldn't mind spending more time with them though...

I like spending time with my children, but I definitely enjoy my time when they're sleeping or in school. I also enjoy the time when I'm at work...or at least I enjoy it for the most part. I don't know if anyone totally enjoys going to work, especially when they're rather be at home with the family.

A little more time at home would be good. I wouldn't necessarily want to be there all the time!

Yeah, you need to get out of the house once in a while. My parents noticed a difference in me when I went back to work in 2007. I had been at home with my son and daughter for about seven months. When you're around kids alot, with very little adult interaction, it can get to you.

Right now I am a full time stay at home mom. My husband is in the army and currently overseas. He left when our son was 3 1/2 months old. We decided before we had patrick I would stay home with him for the first year. When my husband gets back and we get moved to our new base I am going to start working part-time. I feel very blessed to be able to stay home right now. I get to be home and see all his firsts and record them for my husband.

Spend as much time with your son as you can. I didn't get the chance to spend time with my daughter when she was young because I had to work. I was able to spend more time with my son. Get it while you can since you're talking that you're gonna be going back to work eventually.
