With your New Year's Resolutions?
It has been 2 months, and I'm still doing very well with mine. I just made a deposit to my savings- one of my goals, and this morning I worked out, as I do 5-6 times a week- my other goal.
I feel good, have increased my bank account and my endurance, and proven to myself that these things can be accomplished if I want it bad enough. I used to make excuses for why I didn't have enough money to save, or time to workout. But now I know they were just excuses, and I am successful at both.
I also set a goal to write more, but that is not happening. I still am trying to make time for it, and to come up with the motivation. So far, no luck. But I haven't given up. Oh, well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
So how is it going for you? Have you kept your resolutions? Have you had any trouble with them, or given up altogether. Do share.

I can't remember what mine were, refresh me? Oh yea, to get out of debt, working towards that and to be a calmer person, slowly working towards that. Good luck in your quest.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure remembering what your resolutions were is key in achieving them.
Thanks, I feel good about getting this far.

I am not doing bad I have been excercising and lost an inch from my waste line.Plus I have saved fifteen pound a week on my shopping and thats what I set out to do.The best thing is that I am getting on a lot better with my teenage son by not interfering in his life so much and letting him get on with it,it has paid dividends as he is so much happier.I am really pleased with what I have acheived and it is only march great ,it is going to be a good year I can feel it in my bones.Well done on what you have achieved.x

i've been doing really well lost about 13 pounds (last time i weighed), been keeping my house cleaner except for the past few days ive been home very little - long enough to mess than sleep not clean. AND i did really with the spend only necessities month in feb however i didnt end up saving anything because really importantly i needed propane for heat...lucky i had been doing that because i had enough to get propane!
i'm having a bit of trouble this week with the cleaning and exercise thing - other than that doing well.

You are welcome. Sometimes it is too easy to let things go, especially when no one else is checking up on you. That's why I asked my husband to help. He helps keep me on my toes.

PS - thank you for the reminder it got me off my butt to clean the kitchen before i go to bed - thats been the worst area for getting messy as i walk in the door set things down and forget to go back and put them away coats mitts bags, lunch etc all got put away. I'd exercise tonight but its almost midnight and i'm just so tired (first night in about a week ive had a chance to just sit and not be around anyone or HAVE to be somewhere)

I am acctually doing very well on my New Years resolution to slim down a little before Summer starts! I went on a low carb diet and have lost about 8 pounds to this point, and I ma happy with that. The funny thing about this is that I usually do not make resolutions, as I don't think anyone ever follows through after a few weeks, but if it's something you really want to do, I say go for it!

The only way to know if you can follow through is to try, and obviously you can. Good for you. 8 pounds is great.
