good horror movies

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew any good horror movies I mean really scary ones and some that are silly too. Also some action and comedy movies to thanks

Resident Evil is awesome, but what i think could match that is Underworld, i just saw that and it was just awesome. Something completely mythic, but you need to see all of them to understand it.

A good horror movie to me would be the strangers, now it is not scary and it does not have much but the scary thing it has that almost every movie now adays lacks is the fact that it could happen to you. The killers were normal people, no powers, no curses, no creatures, just your everyday crazies that could live in the next house for all anyone know.

It's hard for me to suggest really scary movies because I have trouble finding any that really scare me LOL but here are some of my favorites:
Carrie
Firestarter
Saw (but only the first one)
Identity
Frailty
IT
As for action and comedy, the Lethal Weapon series, the Die Hard series, the Police Academy series, (hmmm something not in a series?) Mel Brooks' History of the World Part I, Monty Python and the Holy Grail (British comedy is an acquired taste), The Goonies, Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink
