What's your take on this? Do you think it's necessary for every one to have a religion? If so, why? If no, why? I would like to hear your views on this! Happy mylotting!

I think religion, leads people to good. i believe that all religions, point to the same direction, which is the goodness of all of us. it's just that it has been mixed with human thinking, of crab mentality, that some religions are fighting trying to be greater than one another.

Guys, I think the point that we want to draw out of this discussion is something of what Pose had share in his response to this discussion! I wonder if we are reading each other's point of view and learning from each other at the same time. Yes, I appreciate that you guys are with us sharing your views. Let's keep sharing and build each other up in a good way so that we may become a better human being and make a difference whereever we may be at around the world and hopefully this will to some extend help make our world a better place to live!

I think that if a person is truly happy in their religion (or lack of religion) then its a good thing having faith in something even if its yourself is never a bad thing

Yes, having faith on something is a good thing! But better still is having faith on the things that you know is valid, right and authentic I think is worth it! Don't you think so? Thanks anyways for sharing!

I believe religion makes many people focus on something else, which allows them to neglect the way they treat people who think differently than them... For some, religion is a savior, but for others, it's just another means to an end... People should do things because they think they are right, not just because they are told it is the right thing to do...too often do I hear religious works misquoted and misinterpreted... All interestingly from a book no one knows the author of ?

The journey to knowledge is our own path. All the secrets of the universe are in plain sight. Who can see? Who wants to see? Does it matter which path one takes to knowledge? If you choose to join a religion that's OK. Keep your eyes and mind open. Perhaps there will be more lessons than you could expect.
