What movies SHOULD have been nominated for an Oscar this year?

What do you think about the recent 51st Annual Academy Awards show? Personally I think if they would nominate movies that people have actually heard of, instead of trying to prove a point and nominate.... a) the small independent or foreign film that nobody has ever heard of to prove that the academy is "too cool" to vote for whatever is popular b) the film that was a modest hit but had a star in it that played a role that fit right into the "liberal" agenda of the media (Broke Back Mountain, Milk)to make anybody who disagrees feel "ashamed"What movies do you think SHOULD have been nominated? My suggestions: 1. Defiance - an excellent movie starring the current James Bond, Daniel Craig 2. Leatherheads - a decent George Clooney movie that was not political or serving any cause, but instead was an interesting account of 1920s football and journalism. It was no "Seabisquit," but still it was better than most of what was actually nominated this year.
