What if I drank only water

As a avid coffee drinker, and a fan of Beer, this thought seems a litle foreign to me, but after a discussion with a friend about the "Living Wage" and its role on the political side of things, I started thinking about the things in my life that I could cut out if I had to. For the most part, everything I drink is basically a waste of money, so I am going to start on a week campaign to drink only water. Asside from the fact that this is probably healtier, it should also save me some cash.
My only concern is that where I normally drink coffee while I work, I might eat instead which will surely be more expensive than drinking coffee. We will see, wish me luck. (Drinking my last cup of coffee right now. )

I don't know that coffee is all that bad for you, I have seen studies showing benefits as well as detriments, I think it is probably an everything in moderation kind of deal.

Good luck!!
Do remember that you will go through caffine withdraws and it can give you a headache and make you cranky.
Have a great week

I'm cranky anyway, now I will be just as cranky but my breath will smell better so it won't bother people as much :)

If you keep a water bottle at your desk, instead of that coffee mug, it shouldn't be a problem. I think water is actually more filling (so you should actually be less hungry). Plus, you have the added benefit of the water is going to keep you better hydrated, the coffee with it's caffeine dehydrates you. So this will actually help you feel better. I actually think you have a great idea.

yeah, I think I drink more out of habit or oral fixation than for actuall need for caffine, I have been known to hang out and drink from a water bottle like it was a baby bottle. I hadn't thought about water being more filling,
