I have to admit it, I am a fanatic for a good curry. My favorites are Northern Indian (I'm not crazy about the cardomom they use in Southern India) and Thai. However, these are fairly spicy for American taste and after making it three times a week for a month, even my wife wanted something different. I also like Phillipine and Caribbean style curries.
I recently discovered a Singapore curry that is excellent and mild.
What are your favorite types of curry?

There is a "fast food" restaurant two blocks from the apartment called "Curry in a Hurry". I haven't tried it yet, but I plan to. There's also an Irish pub two blocks farther than that which has a Friday night curry buffet (and Guinness on tap!)

I love the Philippine style, too. It's somewhat difficult to get the spices here, but sometimes I will find them. My father grew up in Manila and taught my mother to make it (she grew up in the West Indies and would make Caribbean curry). I grew up with both and was hooked.

Yeah. I'm not used to overly spicy things, but I do like a good flavour. Thanks so much for understanding, and for switching to the Chinese and Singapore curries. I LOVE THEM!!!
In Denmark we have a recipe that's literally Mom's Danish meatballs in white ssauce, over rice. You know the typical thick white sauce. Well, add some yellow curry powder to that, and you have a Danish curry sauce. It's usually served over rice, but I imagine it would be good over pasta too, since I really don't like rice.
I think the recipe is in my cookbook, otherwise, we can just ask Mom. She can make that particular dish with her eyes closed.
