will 2012 be the end of the world?

The other day the history channel had a show on that was talking about nostrodaumus and how the aztecs studied the stars and the visible planets, and they concluded from whatever findings they found that 2012 would be the end of the world, and scientists on the show were talking about the planets being alighned or something weird that could possibly bring about an ice age just like the one that took out the dinosaurs. They didnt say that it was for sure going to happen but its still a creepy theory. Do you think 2012 will be the end of the world? If not what do you think will be?

It is kind of creepy, But if it happens then it happens. Not anything anyone can do about it. I will keep living my life to the best i can until that day. I will not worry about it or wonder.

I thought it was creepy too, the talk of the planets being in alignment sounded like something straight out of hollywood, I will continue to live my life as well I wont worry about it either, but I just cant help but wonder

That's what they said when it was almost 2000, they even said that there was a Y2k virus, I guess people wouldn't stop doing that. So who cares if it will be the end of the world or not? You should be worried if you're the only one to be left and everyone else would go before you, right? Don't let these false statements worry you too much, I'm sure they've been doing that since time a memorial. But nobody can really predict anything. Even Nostradamus fella, they just over sensationalized that story. Live your life, when you die, that's the end of the world for you. Get the picture?

Yes, I wasn't buying into the story, I personally think either humans will cause the end of the world, or the growing of the sun will eventually destroy the earth billions of years from now, but by then hopefully mankind got smart enough to move to a new planet, i just thought that this would be an interesting topic for people to talk about

lol my friend and I was just talking about this yesterday, thats crazy, I thought he was just makin up stuff, but wow, I hope it doesnt end then I still have alot of stuff to do with life first lol good topic though
