I think the most famous dish here in Philippines is Adobo. It is a meat or chicken with soy sauce, onion, garlic and pepper. It is one of my favorite foods. We also have Sinigang (sour soup with pork, fish or other meats), Kare-kare, Dinuguan (with pig's blood) and Nilaga (boiled meat with vegetables like cabbage, potatoes and beans.) We have a lot of local dishes too in our provinces. And also one famous dish whenever there are fiestas is the "Lechon."

The pig's blood when cooked is black in color and has a sour taste. But it all depends on how it was cooked and what are the ingredients together with the pig's meat. There are some cooks who prefer a bit sweet pig's blood for that dish. Some people here don't eat that dish "Dinuguan" because that is prohibited by their religion but I think they are missing out the fun and the taste of that delicious dish. Anyway I respect all people who don't want to eat such food because I myself does not eat other foods as well.

I live in the USA and there is a saying here "American as apple pie" so it must be apple pie. Made with a dough and apple slices cinnamon and other spices and sugar. You mix the wet ingredients and put them in a pie shell and bake it. Yumm hot apple pie with vanilla ice creamy Yummo!!

I think there are lots of signature dishes in my country, I think Beijing duck will be one of them. It is a roast duck, the cook will shed the skin of the duck, we will use a skin to wrap up some ingriendients like thin sliced celery, carrots etc and duck meat plus some seafood sauce to eat with.hmmm yum yum! I like it a lot! :-)

Hello nikky28!
I'm from Indonesia. Some signature dishes from Indonesia is "Rendang". Rendang made from meat with special traditional recipe from one part of Indonesia which is Padang, Sumatera. The making of Rendang is also special, we need to cook it around 4 hours with all the inggredients to make the meat delicious and soft. This dishes can be found almost all the place in Indonesia, I think this one became our national dishes right now. We can keep Rendang around a month in the refrigerator, sometimes we bring it if we go aboard our country. Here, in Malaysia, I can find Rendang, :D. I think all Melayu people love Rendang.

Hi, I am from England and I think we're famous for Fish and Chips or Pie and Mash. There are many fish and chip shops about but Pie and Mash shops are dieing out. I actually prefer dishes from other countries like Indian food and Thai food:)
