Here's A New Twist To Popcorn...Alcoholic Flavored No Less

I just heard this story on the news...a Missouri college student Cary Silverman has developed a "new" twist on popcorn...forget regular buttery flavor, forget caramel flavored popcorn. He has introduced alcoholic flavored brands...beer, pina colada, and Irish Cream flavored popcorns. While having the flavors of these alcoholic flavors they are NON-alcoholic.

You know...I just might order some out of curiosity...they're not very expensive either...One can get a sample pack for instance of all three flavors for $6.75 plus shipping and handling. The regular price for a 10 oz. package of each individual flavor is $2.50
So---would you order this?? Think I might try the Irish Cream....LOL

Hmmm, were you up late or are you up early. I really thought I was going to beat everybody up this morning.
I'm not to sure I would like these new flavors but since the samples are so reasonably priced I might try them. I'll bet my daughter would like them, though.

if there is Bailey flavored popcorn I might try it...
that one may taste more familiar to me than the rest
and I just love popcorn so oyu never know it might just work.

That sounds delish, Pye! I'd definitely try the Irish Cream. We have Lolly Gobble Bliss Bombs here - they are caramelised, with bits of nut in them. Pretty amazing - but not too good for the waistline! I noticed they were selling chili popcorn at a stall in one of the shopping malls a while back.

Hey pye! Well now what will they think of next? I would try
it if they would let me order just the pina colada! I don't
think I would like the others! I'm quite sure that I would
definitely love the pina colada ones! I just love that flavor!
In fact, my dentist had this stuff that he put in my mouth
once to supposedly numb me topically before giving me the
Novacaine injection and I said, "This tastes just like Pina
Colada" and he told me I was right! But, then last week he
stuck the crap in my mouth and I yelled that it wasn't pina
colada and he told me that they didn't have that one and it
was cherry and I hate cherry! Anway, interesting take on the
popcorn flavoring. I still think I'll stick to my favorites,
butter and carmel!

I might be interested in the pina colada, but the other flavors don't do much for me. I don't really even like the cheddar flavors, and sometimes I'll eat the caramel. Other than that, I like it with just salt and butter :)

Nah, I think I will just stick to regular popcorn. That guy is very creative I will give him that and he is making money off of his idea. I think thats great!

That is really a new twist on Popcorn's traditional flavors. I hope that would be available in my place soon. I might as well buy it out of curiosity. But then I am pretty sure that I will never replace the original flavoring of popcorn. I would just buy out of curiosity and will eventually go back ot my old faves of caramel or butter or cheese flavors.

Hi pyewacket! That is very interesting! I think I will try it for I am curious of how it really taste. LOL! I do find that a great idea for a business and I do hope that this college student will have do great on his new Pub Corn!

Pina colada, yummy. I'd try it. Yumm Yumm Yumm. Much better than ketchup flavored popcorn. Yes it does exist.

All these are simply artificial flavorings and I am just no enthusiast for them. I am just one of them that appreciates the traditional caramel or chocolate coatings. I just find it a more healthier option.

Wow that is crazy I never heard of popcorn tasting like that. I dont know if I would want to try it. It sounds crazy and weired to make flavors like that. But people will try to get you to buy anything now a days just to make money the way everybody in the economy is hurting.
