why people are influenced by bad habits ?

i m a regular smoker, takes wine occasionally.. but i still cant understand.. why i m taking all these and why i never tried to give up. bad habits influence us more and we cant come out of it easily ... share your experince.

Well yes do you know why we are more influenced in bad habits?Because we are all sinners it is our human nature to sin,lie,cheat and stuff like that.That is why Jesus Christ came down to earth and to forgive us for our sins.

there's an old saying about that one, it's easier and feels better to do the bad stuff. discipline always requires more effort, and it's more difficult to drag yourself to be good to avoid all the temptations out there. i'm not sure i'm really willing to work that hard. LoL. But yeah I'm struggling to quit my bad habits like smoking & drinking.
