why are a lot of computers being made right now in the color RED?!

i really do not like the color red but there are a TON of computers being made in that color! im not talking about the mainstream dell or gateway etc but like the lesser brands that are more build to order they are all showing up in red! my new pc is red and i hate it but oh well.. i know my hubby he hates it (we both bought ourselves the same pc so now we have TWO red pcs lol) but he looked everywhere and all the good priced and good statistic wise were all red...*grumble*cant people like BLUE?!?! lol.. of course all the pcs that are pretty colors are crap sigh.. so is red like the number 1 popular color or something? did they like choose that color for a reason or do they just like ugly laptops? well i guess the lights all around the cover and sides are at least blue..

we noticed it a lot online when we were shopping around.. in stores i havent seen many but online there everywhere!

I've seen a lot of those lately and I don't understand it except that they would appeal to young people. I prefer the old standard gray or black.

I guess it is a trend now. It started with Ferrari and their designer laptops. And people liked it. So the rest of the PC makers just follow the trend in order to boost sales.
Cos red just speaks of attention. When you see someone with a bright red laptop, you just take a second look. You cannot help it. Be that look in awe or disgust, you will still take that second look.
I guess it is the attention grabbing attraction to red that makes more PC makers producing red computers. Demand and supply. People like it, they produce it.

This trend on computer hasn't been popular in China. However in our country, red is one of the favourite colour especially during the Lunar New Year, which could be seen everywhere. It is traditional lucky colour that is supposed to bring one good fortune. Yet personally red is not suitable for indoor decoration which is so sharp and could make people irritable easily. Talk about the colour indoors, I also figure bule is a better choice, which is more peaceful as well as harmonious.

i think colour does not matters in laptops...we can change the outer body with our desired ones......
Moreover red is a very attractive colour compare to others...it might be the reason companies manufacturing it on red shade......obviously they need their products to be atttractive to a persons sight....!!!!!!!
