Have you adopted a child? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

hi ash! no i have not adopted a baby...thank God, we have finally been blessed with our own, whom we will be having soon. i think adoption is a great thing, especially being able to provide life to a child who was probably abandoned etc. it is making a change in the life of that child. however, i also think that sometimes, it is a great effort. adoption is a tedious process, i don't like paperworks. and well, yeah, there is the differences of personalities, like what people would say, it is different when the child is not your own. but well, i think it doesn't really matter, because even your child can be different from you. i think the better perspective is that, you will be able to give life. but in my case, i would be honest with my adopted child. no secrets. so that there will be no blaming in the future. take care and God bless you! ps. by the way, are you married? you will have to consider your mate or your future mate's thoughts on this. happy mylotting! :-)
