What is really important to you when you are in a relationship?

I want to know what makes you happy in a relationship. I am not talking about time pass kind of relationship. I am talking about a relationship with someone you genuinely care for. I am single, i am not dating someone cause i am busy with my hectic schedule. So i want to know what you guys are thinking?

for me, i am happy when the person i genuinely care for spends quality time with me. quality time meaning no distractions of phone calls, no text messaging while we are chatting. he or she shouldn't be in a hurry or is thinking of doing something else or being in another place.

for me it's a comfort level first and foremost. if i can't be comfortable with the person i'm spending my time with then there's no point to continue on. after that comes trust and understanding. i'm not an easy person to get along with. no one could tell you that better than my best friends and boyfriend. he understands though and deals with it. he tells me that its worth putting up with because he gets me on my good days too. you have to take the good with the bad too right?
