who is a better pet?

i think dogs are better pets than cats as they provide more security to their owner than cats as cats are not owned for security purpose also cats can be annoying sometimes

No one can answerer that question, because it depends up on the person who you are, what you do, what you like, what time you have and what you want to get out of the relationship. For on person a cat would be the ultimate pet, for another maybe a dog , and for the third it could be a ferret.... The list is long ! For me, the answer are a dog

I think that it depends on your lifestyle. If you aren't home much a cat may be better, they are basically self sufficent, leave them food, water and a littler pan. Also if you have problems with mice they might get rid of them. Myself I prefer dogs, they are always happy to see me, encourage me to take walks and play with them. They also keep strangers away from the house. Where I live in Mexico many people are afraid of dogs, they would never think of coming to my house if I wasn't home. They also make me smile with some of their silly actions.

I think that you are more fun and outgoing then a dog would make a better pet. they are really playful and fun. Older people, or ones who are more laid back would be better off with a cat. They like lounging around and taking naps all day. It all depends on your personality. I personally like dogs. :)

well for me both cat and dog are my fav and i got both of them. but i heard mostly they say dogs are better than cats as they guide your home, and are faithfull than cats and stuffs but i have an equal love for cats and dogs they are dumb animals who cant speak and cnt think like we do, when a dog can guard home, a cat is a soft hearted and dearly pet which you can love and also guards homes by swaying away rats ofcourse

It depens. Everyone must be has his/her own opinion. But for me, i prefer cats because they are calm and cute, and also i have a bad memories about dog when i still in elementary school. It makes me scare of them until right now,lol. I know for most people, dogs are cute and well known as a loyal pet. But for people like me, dogs are scary :D
