Do you think nightmares can only be seen in your dreams?

hi there, angel2009.. thank God, no more of my past nightmares haunt me. but for the purpose of sharing, i once had a nightmare that was of my own making. i got drunk (but not so drunk) and made a 'test' of my boyfriend back then. i told him that i've been with several guys before him. he started kicking me and punching me and slapping me. that happened on Christmas eve. even when he broke up with me years later, he still denied having done such things.
